Neem oil EC/WSC is a natural derivative from the kernels of the neem seeds (Azadirachta indica), an evergreen tree native to India. This makes it organic and biodegradable. Neem oil kills insects at all stages of development -- adult, larvae and egg. Neem oil EC contails Azadirachtin, Meliantriol, Salanin, Nimbin and a host of other terpenoids that occurs naturally in Neem. It affects insect feeding and acts as a repellent. It also interferes with insect hormone systems, making it harder for insects to grow and lay eggs. Azadirachtin can also repel and reduce the feeding of nematodes. Other components of neem oil kill insects by hindering their ability to feed. It acts as an antifeedant, repellent, oviposition deterrent, plant growth regulator and a sterilant. Neem Oil EC is available from 1500 PPM to 50000 PPM azadirachtin depending on requirement. It is cold pressed and extracted from quality neem seeds without heat, chemicals and petrochemicals thus retain all nutrients and active ingredients.
